MISR International University is a private university located in ElObour city on the edge of Cairo. It was established in 1996 and today has approximately 6,000 students. It is best known for its programs in communication, mass communication, business, engineering, computer and information science, pharmacy and dental medicine.

MIU is interested in opening up to the world and as such has established connections with American and European universities and faculty to better prepare students for a global workforce.

The main building at MISR International University is a welcoming site.
Teaching in my COM 215, Introduction to Online Communication, class.
I was fortunate to have two very pleasant and capable graduate teaching assistants, Sara and Noran, working with me.
