SMAD Day Sessions Attendance
You are expected to attend SMAD Day (Friday, April 8th) which will include portfolio reviews by prospective employers and panel presentations. At a minimum, you will need to attend the following two sessions:
- Converged Media Careers Session
- Converged Media/Interactive Media Portfolio Reviews
You should do everything you can now to free up that day for you to attend these events. Students often report that these are some of the most valuable presentations they attend. If your class or work schedule may present a conflict with these activities, you should discuss this with the instructor by the end of the second week of the semester.
Although your completed portfolios are not due until later in the semester, you’ll want to have a significant amount of work done on this by Friday, April 8th. The feedback you receive could well be incorporated by the time your final portfolios are due for this class.
